Booking Rules & Service Terms
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Udaipur Taxi Service. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Udaipur Taxi Service's booking platform and services. By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Udaipur Taxi Service provides taxi and cab booking services in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and surrounding areas. Our services include:
- One-way taxi services
- Round-trip taxi services
- Local sightseeing tours
- Airport transfers
- Outstation trips
2. Booking Rules
2.1 Booking Process
- Bookings can be made through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or email
- All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion
- Bookings must be made at least 2 hours in advance (subject to availability)
- Same-day bookings are accepted based on availability
2.2 Booking Confirmation
- Bookings are confirmed only after payment or advance payment is received
- You will receive a confirmation via SMS, email, or WhatsApp
- Please verify all booking details in the confirmation
- Contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies
2.3 Booking Modifications
- Modifications to bookings are subject to availability
- Changes must be requested at least 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time
- Additional charges may apply for route or time changes
- We will attempt to accommodate reasonable modification requests
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Pricing
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Prices are based on distance, vehicle type, and route
- Prices may vary for peak hours, festivals, and special occasions
- Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking
- Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, and waiting time
3.2 Payment Terms
- Payment can be made via cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, or bank transfer
- Advance payment may be required for certain bookings
- Full payment is due before or at the start of the journey
- Receipts will be provided for all payments
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Customer Cancellation
- More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund (minus processing fees, if any)
- 12-24 hours before pickup: 75% refund
- 4-12 hours before pickup: 50% refund
- Less than 4 hours before pickup: No refund
- No-show: No refund
4.2 Cancellation Process
- Cancellations must be made via phone, WhatsApp, or email
- Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
- Processing fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
4.3 Service Provider Cancellation
- If we cancel your booking due to our fault, you will receive a full refund
- We will attempt to provide an alternative vehicle if available
- No charges will apply if cancellation is due to our error
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are processed according to the cancellation policy
- Refunds are only available for cancellations made within the specified timeframes
- No refunds for completed journeys unless there is a service deficiency
5.2 Refund Processing
- Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of cancellation
- Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
- Bank processing times may vary
5.3 Service Deficiency Refunds
- If service quality is significantly below standards, partial or full refunds may be provided
- Complaints must be reported immediately during or after the journey
- Refund decisions are made at our discretion after investigation
6. Passenger Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
- Be ready at the scheduled pickup time
- Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
- Follow safety instructions provided by the driver
- Pay the agreed fare as per booking confirmation
- Inform us immediately of any issues or concerns
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
7. Service Limitations
- We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
- Route and timing estimates are approximate and may vary
- We reserve the right to change vehicle types based on availability
- Service availability is subject to driver and vehicle availability
- We are not liable for loss or damage to passenger belongings
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Vehicle Insurance
All our vehicles are insured as per legal requirements. However, passengers are advised to:
- Carry their own travel insurance for personal belongings
- Report any incidents immediately to the driver and our office
8.2 Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the journey
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We are not responsible for delays beyond our control
9. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Smoking inside vehicles
- Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances
- Damaging vehicle property
- Harassing or threatening drivers
- Carrying illegal items or weapons
- Exceeding maximum passenger capacity
- Requesting drivers to violate traffic rules
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of service without refund.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should be reported immediately via phone or email
- We will investigate and respond within 48 hours
- If unresolved, disputes will be subject to Udaipur, Rajasthan jurisdiction
- We encourage amicable resolution of all disputes
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
